Workshop Brief
How this team building workshop is delivered?
Participants in this workshop are split up into smaller groups, with each group assigned a small portion of an image to paint. The problem is that until all the parts are assembled, no one can see how the picture will turn out. In order to make sure that all of the lines intersect and the colors match, teams must cooperate and communicate well.
The painted image may depict a company's mission, values, or even a reimagining of a well-known piece of art. Teams can use this as an opportunity to be creative and make their ideas a reality.
Participants will become aware of how their attention gets narrowed on the tasks that they and their immediate team are working on as the workshop goes on. However, they will eventually realize that they contribute more to the final image. At this point, they will begin to work together and exchange information to make sure that everyone is in agreement. They will genuinely perceive the One Vision and feel proud of themselves if they are able to do this.
This exercise is a potent metaphor for how cooperation and teamwork can result in outstanding achievement at work. After the workshop, participants will feel more bonded and inspired to cooperate to achieve a common objective.
