Chain Reaction Challenge is inspired by whimsical contraptions of 20th century cartoonists and inventors like Rube Goldberg, Heath Robinson and Bruno Munari. This workshop revolves around creating complex interdependent mechanisms using simple resources for achieving a common end objective. Creativity, Innovation, Cross team collaboration and persistence are the major targeted outcomes for Chain Reaction. Improve your team building activities for work colleagues with this engaging and dynamic challenge!
Workshop Brief
Divided in smaller teams all team members work simultaneously on different tables which are kept next to one another. Every team at every table gets various resources of everyday materials and objects. The end objective for all is to hoist a flag of the organisation.
Using all provided resources every team needs to construct a series of events. Then each individual contraption triggers the start of the one that follows, therefore becoming a component in a large-scale collaborative chain reaction machine across several tables.
Every team member goes back with a live demonstration of collaboration in action and a sense of achievement once they hit the end objective. The final Chain Reaction is truly a treat to watch. Develop your team bonding activities in office with this exciting and rewarding experience.
